We have an immediate opening for the regular, full-time position of Cross Connection Control Inspector. The successful candidate will have a diploma in building science or a related trade or technical qualification, and hold a valid BC driver’s license.
You possess two years of experience in plumbing, electrical or building preferably within local government and are a BCWWA Certified Backflow Assembly Tester.
Reporting to the Manager, Water Quality, the Cross Connection Control Inspector is responsible for identifying and mitigating potential risks from cross connections and other bylaw infractions within regional district water utilities.

This is a regular, full-time position (35 hours/week) with a wage range of $36.15 to $41.54 per hour, depending upon experience and qualifications, as well as an extensive benefits package and generous compressed work schedule.
