We have an opening for the regular, full-time position of Diversion and Disposal Facilities Operations Manager. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Services or a related field and hold a valid BC driver’s license.
As part of a succession and development plan, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to become the Manager, Environmental Services within a few years.
You possess excellent leadership and staff mentoring skills. You have extensive knowledge of solid waste management, including legislation and best practices related to landfill and recycling operations. You excel in interpersonal communication, demonstrate initiative and high integrity, and have a proven track record of planning, organizing, and implementing projects.
Reporting to the General Manager, Strategic and Community Services, the Diversion and Disposal Facilities Operations Manager provides leadership and overall management relative to the operations of all Regional District of North Okanagan diversion and disposal facilities.

This is a regular, full-time position with a salary range of $100,045 to $109,746 dependent upon experience and qualifications, as well as an extensive benefits package and compressed work schedule.
